Event Id 7043 Windows Update In my opinion the real fix is to rename the file as stated in the update section simply because you are calling a class that does not exist. The Event you see are mainly internal SharePoint problem similar of this:http://blogs.msdn.com/b/varun_malhotra/archive/2010/04/14/moss-event-log-error-when-you-have-ajax-user-controls-in-control-templates.aspx.

Run the test case.

To fix this, open the following file: Shell C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\CONTROLTEMPLATES\TaxonomyPicker.ascx 1 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\CONTROLTEMPLATES\TaxonomyPicker.ascx In the first line, replace "," with a comma. Apparently, someone over at Microsoft made a typo in the TaxonomyPicker.ascx file. After doing some research it appears that the TaxonomyPicker is never actually used. Update 2011-07-08: According to this article, the referenced control no longer exists in the SharePoint DLLs and should simply be removed. Check This Out You need to copy the files to all your Web Sites to avoid getting the EventViewer messages.
