No matter what I seem to do, message "plug-in may be busy - continue or stop script" or something close to that, keeps coming up again and again and my PC January 19, 2012 mayorchum Very helpful! Shockwave Flash Unresponsive Chrome
Please ask a new question if you need help. without it freezing and then getting the "Shockwave Flash may be busy..." error. Really!?
- I love firefox, but if the browser refuses to work, I probably won't be using it for much longer.
- I've done everything that is suggested above, and nothing works.
- I keep getting a pop up box about Shockwave Flash not responding.
- When you do that, Firefox will allow the plugin to hang for up to 45 seconds before it crashes.

Re: Please help... I've been using firefox for a really really long time, and I play quite a lot of facebook games. You can also set it to -1 to disable it. Shockwave Plugin Chrome Disabled one, problem seems to be solved.

I ran across this same problem several years ago, and that was the fix, but it's been so long since then that I completely forgot about this fix.
